Biography of the Head of the Department of Persian (Dari)

Assistant Professor Hafez Azizullah Azizi was born in 1366 (Hijri Solar) in the village of Khost, Baghlan Province. He completed his primary education and religious studies in his hometown. He pursued his secondary education at Mawlavi Mohammad Nabi Shaheed High School and completed his high school education at Imam Qutaybah High School in Baghlan Markazi in 1386.
Additionally, during the years 1384 to 1386, he successfully completed the memorization of the Holy Qur’an and the art of calligraphy with distinction.

Subsequently, he enrolled in the Pul-e-Khumri Teacher Training College (Dar-ul-Moalemin) in the Department of Dari Language and Literature and graduated in 1388. In 1389, he was admitted to Kabul University of Education and graduated in 1391 under the supervision of Professor Sahab.
Later, in 1394, he was admitted to the Master’s program at Kabul University and completed his studies in 1395 under the guidance and prayers of Professor Qawim.

He has served in the sacred profession of teaching for many years and has also worked for four years as a university lecturer at Edrak University. Currently, Assistant Professor Hafez Azizullah Azizi is a member of the academic staff of the Department of Persian (Dari) Language and Literature and serves as the Head of the Department.
